LANSTAN

Fast-Rising Northern Beaches Rapper Teams up with Talakai for New Single "Glow"

Glow

Following on from the massive success of ‘Fade Away’ with Italian megastars The FifthGuys, Lanstan has kept his foot firmly on the gas with a string of electrifying releases, bringing us to his most recent banger in the defiant anthem ‘Glow’.

Linking up with Aussie hip-hop legend Talakai, ‘Glow’ tells the story of two hungry artists fighting for their spot in the limelight. Produced by Sydney local Ollie Roland (Lil Yachty) and mixed by multi-platinum engineer Joseph Colmenero (Cardi B, Lil Tecca, Wu-Tang Clan), this track has all the ingredients of a smash hit.

Lanstan has been steadily carving out a place for himself in Australia’s flourishing music scene over the last few years with viral hits and introspective lyricism but it was in September that his audience really began to explode.

Since releasing ‘Fade Away’, Lanstan’s Spotify monthly listeners have quickly climbed to over 300,000, placing him alongside some of Australia’s biggest hip-hop artists.

Lanstan has proven that he thrives in the spotlight, continuing to release music at an even faster rate, constantly entertaining his fans with new and exciting projects.

His latest effort ‘Glow’ is a song that has fans foaming at the mouth as despite rapid growth overseas, Lanstan’s core fanbase is rooted deeply in Australian hip-hop.

Within the shiny bells and hard, knocking drums of the instrumental, Lanstan finds himself going bar for bar with Talakai, one of the countries most prolific MC’s.

With over a million YouTube plays and years of touring the country with ChillinIT under his belt, Talakai has cemented his position as one of Australian rap’s biggest names.

Now, oozing with confidence, Talakai’s raw flow pulls everything together between the entrancingly catchy hook of ‘Glow’.

Within the braggadocios lyrical content of the track, one thing is made very clear - Lanstan & Talakai are two of Australian hip-hop’s most promising exports. With all of the exciting things happening in the Australian music scene, these are two artists that you don’t want to take your eyes off.
